Strawberry Hack’s story starts with reproducer and previous High Times development manager Kyle Kushman, who professes to have obtained the clone-just strain — supposedly a cross of Dimness and Strawberry Fields — from a beginner cultivator in Connecticut. The cultivator gave Kushman a little Strawberry Hack clone from his little cellar garden. Kushman acknowledged the clone, generally for amiability, and almost discarded it before he saw a staggering smell of new strawberries exuding from the clone. Kushman chose to keep the strain and started to share it unreservedly among New York cultivators.
