SFV OG – or San Fernando Valley OG – started as an aggregate of OG Kush. A cultivator named Steer at Cali Association Homesteads in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley reared it with an Afghani from Local Fantaseeds. The subsequent strain takes its initials from its parent strain, as well as the condensed area of its seed bank.
Raisers made the strain subsequent to choosing OG Kush for its natural, lemony smell and quieting properties, which are the consequence of elevated degrees of myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene.
The strain assumed third position in the Indica classification at the High Times Pot Cup in Amsterdam in 2012, and first spot at the Denver Weed Cup that very year.
